Trip Details

On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina destroyed Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Mother Jane Cornman is leading the St. Mary's youth-group trip in June to assist in the clean-up efforts.

The youth group will help to clean up and rebuild Episcopal facilities and homes in Mississippi. Working with Mission on the Bay, located at Christ Episcopal Church, Bay St. Louis. Check out their website. Christ Episcopal Church was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina, August 29, 2005. The entire material side of the church and surrounding buildings were destroyed by the storm. Nothing was left standing except the bell tower.

  • Miles for Mississippi - Sponsor Bob Boyer or Chris Steinhardt in the Broad Street Run - a 10-mile race on May 6, and the proceeds raised will go to our mission trip to Mississippi. Contact Bob or Chris if you can sponsor their run, or if you want to join them in the race. You can pledge per mile.
  • Need a Babysitter?
    Registered nurse Lois Brunet will take care of your children on Saturday afternoons or evenings for just $12 per hour. 100% of the earnings will be donated to the Mission Trip. Support the Mission call Lois at 610-525-3815, now.
  • March 17 St. Patrick's Day Dinner a Great Success!
    $2,788 was raised as a start to the Mississippi Mission Trip Fund.
