"All Communicants of this Church who for the previous year have been faithful in corporate worship, unless for good cause prevented, and have been faithful in working, praying, and giving for the spread of the Kingdom of God, are to be considered communicants in good standing." - Canons of The Episcopal Church
St. Mary's, Wayne affirms this statement with the understanding that at baptism, we are called into full involvement in the community of faith.
If you have previously been confirmed or received in The Episcopal Church, you may become a member of St. Mary's, Wayne by contacting your previous church to request that they send a letter of transfer to us. Our office can provide the address of your previous parish, if needed. If you would prefer that St. Mary's initiates this transfer, with your permission we may begin the paperwork.
Periodic classes are available to anyone who would like to transfer or have a refresher course; some adults also choose to reaffirm their Baptismal vows through Reaffirmation with the Bishop.
Please contact the office for more information or Father Smith for more information.
