Richard Zuch has been captivating audiences for over three decades. His rich bass voice has been noted for its power and beauty, and he consistently receives praise for his musicianship and dedicated performances. Mr. Zuch has performed the role

of Nourabad in Bizet’s Les Pêcheurs de Perles with Winter Opera of St. Louis and has appeared in multiple productions at the Utah Festival; as Daland in Wagner’s

Der fliegende Holländer, The Old Doctor in Barber’s Vanessa, Lazar Wolf in Fiddler on the Roof and Dr. Engel in Romberg’s The Student Prince.

He made his debut as Sarastro in Mozart’s Magic Flute with Opera Delaware and Il Sagrestano in Puccini’s Tosca with the St. Petersburg Opera. As concert artist Mr. Zuch’s solo

appearances include performances of Brahms’ Ein deutches Requiem, Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Die Erste Walpurgisnacht, Mozart’s Requiem, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Missa Solemnis, Mass in C and Choral Fantasy. He has also been featured in Haydn’s Creation and Lord Nelson Mass, Bach’s St. John and St. Matthew Passions, Bruckner’s Te Deum and Handel’s Messiah. He is an active recitalist with a wide range of nuanced and entertaining repertoire.


A graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music from which he holds both an Artist’s

Diploma and a Certificate for Advanced Vocal Studies, Mr. Zuch has performed

with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Buffalo Philharmonic, Fort Worth Symphony,

Tulsa Symphony, Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia, Delaware Symphony,

Harrisburg Symphony and the Hilton Head Orchestra. In addition, he was a soloist

with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra at the Verbier Music Festival in Switzerland

under the direction of Maestro Kurt Masur.
