Adult & Youth Formation

Beginning on February 8th, representatives from charities that our church supports will come to Adult Formation to describe their ministries and inform us about needs in the community. 

Because of recent snow cancellations, we will feature two charities on February 8th.  Peter Burke will give us information about our own Little Free Pantry and Michele Leonard from the Wayne Methodist Church will also speak about the extensive food ministry that they support for our neighbors in Wayne.

On February 15th, we will hear from a representative of the Home of the Sparrow and on February 22nd an administrator for The House in Phoenixville will describe their outreach for the homeless. We hope that many of you will hear these interesting speakers.

The Lenten Quiet Morning will take place on Saturday, February 14th. Coffee will be served at 9:30 AM. From 10-11:30 Father Conor will introduce a new series for Adult Formation explaining the liturgy. This will be followed by a modest lunch of soup and bread. 

On Sunday mornings at 9 AM on March 8, 15 and 22, Father Conor will continue his presentation about the liturgy. Everyone is urged to attend.

There will be no Adult Formation on Palm Sunday or Easter. 

For five Sundays after Easter, Adult Formation will discuss angels in the Old and New Testaments.On April 12th, we will begin with a presentation by Tom Buechle of some inspiring artistic depictions of angels. This program will take place during coffee hour and everyone is encouraged to attend.
