Rectory Front Room Heating

In January 2025 it was noticed that the front room in the rectory was extremely cold. Neither of the radiators were working. A service call from Horn Plumbing discovered a bleed valve in the attic of the third floor. The attic is accessed through a door in the west room. It's the same attic space that houses the air conditioning unit.

The radiator system is set up so that the third floor is heated first, and the pipes then descend to the lower levels of the house. Bleeding air out of the pipe in the attic solved the problem and the front room radiators now heat up nicely.
