Wedneday, September 9th at 2pm
At Jean Wetzel’s House
The next meeting of the St. Mary’s book club will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, September 9th at Jean Wetzel’s house. We will discuss a biography by Graham Watson entitled The Invention of Charlotte Bronte: A New Life (2025). On October 14th at Erlis
Wickersham”s we will read Villette (1853) by Charlotte Bronte herself. Our November selection is a most timely and prize-winning novel by Martha Wells entitled The Murderbot Diaries. Book One. All Systems Red. (2017) Here we will encounter artificial intelligence smart enough to develop its own estimable morality. Please feel warmly invited to join this group for discussion with delicious refreshments, whether you have read the book or not. We do hope to see you on September 9th. For questions or suggestions, please contact Erlis Wickersham
