Children's Chapel

During the 10am Service

Please note: Children's Chapel is on hiatus for the rest of the summer.

If you have any questions about Children’s Chapel please reach out to Edith Helms. All are welcome to Children’s Chapel, although there is a focus on children. Please follow the Cross during the singing of the Sequence Hymn which is before the Gospel.  For roughly half an hour we joyfully learn about and praise our Creator and Savior through songs, games, stories and art. We return, again following the Cross, in time for Holy Communion.

Monday Bible Study

Monday morning Bible study meets on Zoom at 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This class meets each Monday morning at 11 AM for one hour on Zoom. All are welcome. No preparation is necessary.

Our group has just completed a careful reading of the book of Ezekiel. This is an excellent time to join us as we  investigate the fascinating and eventful book of Daniel. After we have read all 12 visionary chapters of this Old Testament narrative, we will turn to Paul's letter to the Galatians.

Please feel free to suggest a topic for Bible study that is close to your own heart.

Just let Erlis Wickersham (610-322-5167) know what interests you.

Please consider joining us as we explore the Scriptures.

Our Story:

St. Mary's has been on the corner of Lancaster and Louella Avenue for over a hundred and thirty years.  St. Mary’s and the village of Wayne grew up together.  If you like, you can find a historical account of that growth HERE, but please know, our focus is not on our past, but rather it is on the church of the 21st century.

As an Episcopal Church, we love our liturgy.  We will pray and sing and learn together through liturgy that honors God and feeds our soul.   When you come visit, we will welcome you with open arms.  As we grow in our relationship, we will hold your hand and cry with you if you are sick or distressed, and we will rejoice with you as you celebrate life's milestones. We will challenge you to learn more about God and how God will reconcile the world back unto himself. And we will prepare you to go out into the world and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Answers to frequently asked questions about St. Mary's liturgy, customs and our facility.
